What is our history?

Herança Magna is a cultural and gastronomic event held in Vila Nova de Gaia, in the Porto region, celebrating the traditions of Northern Portugal.

Located in a former Port wine cellar, the space has been transformed to host events that combine typical cuisine, traditional music, and dance.

The program includes a buffet dinner with regional dishes, such as Bacalhau à Herança Magna (Codfish Herança Magna style), accompanied by excellent Portuguese wines.

During the meal, visitors can enjoy live performances of fado and folklore, providing an immersive experience in the cultural roots of the Douro region. This event stands out for offering a living tribute to the history and heritage of the region, in an authentic and engaging environment.
